So, I am looking for a accessible single shooter game for windows and its for a friend.
Anyone know of any good single person shooter games, preferedbly free or very reasonably priced?
Thanks

I'm afraid your choices, if this friend is blind, are rather limited. The only two I am aware of that are accessible, are Shades of Doom by GMA Games, and GMA Tank Commander by the same company. Neither of them are what I would call reasonably priced, but there you are.
If this friend is not blind, the options are endless. There is the original Doom, Doom 2 (Hell on Earth),, Doom 3, all of the Quake Games, the Duke Nukem games, Unreal Gold, oh. I could go on.

$30 isn't reasonably priced? Wow! And game stores all over the country have $60 titles.
I guess this may be in part why nobody wants to develop PC games for the blind?
I have owned the above two games and enjoyed them; lost my key, etc. and even the email address I used for getting it is now defunt but let's see: hmm hell I've blown 30 bucks for a lot less than fun and games for a year or more.

at the same time, if one were to buy the games in the store, a lot more goes into it than charging for the actual game.
The case and all the stuff thats on it.
The same games if bought on the PSN costs a fraction of the price and in that regard, the games for sighted people are similarly priced as the games for blind.

Try technoshock. You can check it at audiogames.net under the quick links.

There is also a game called audio quake. I've never gotten it to work myself, but I'm told it is an audio version of the game quake.
